Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society host the international conference USHAKOV FORUM on problems of developing the Russian Arctic on February 21, 2019. The Forum ensures interdisciplinary cooperation necessary for training financial and economic specialists able to work in the Russian Arctic. The Forum participants will discuss social and economic issues of the Arctic development, training staff to work in the Arctic and human resourcing of Arctic projects, the Northern Sea Route extension, navigation safety and the future of Arctic cooperation between Russia and China. Peculiar attention will be paid to Arctic LNG projects, aspects of evaluating return on investment in the region, budgeting and taxation in the Arctic, contemporary methods of financial risk management. Scholars, young researchers, students, postgraduate students, employees of different companies and research institutes who are interested in the Arctic are welcome!
